## What Uber reported

Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: UBER) said on Nov. 4, 2026 that gross bookings for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose 20% from a year earlier to $59.8 billion, and revenue rose 10% to $14.8 billion. Non-GAAP earnings per share were $0.88, up 35% from $0.65, according to the company's earnings release filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. [1](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1543151/000154315126000039/uberq326earningspressrelea.htm)

Investing.com reported that analysts expected non-GAAP EPS of $0.86 and revenue of $14.67 billion; it did not name its data provider. Uber's revenue of $14.77 billion and EPS therefore came in above those figures. A Yahoo Finance preview published Nov. 3 cited a Bloomberg consensus of $59.8 billion for gross bookings, which matches the reported figure. Trips grew 16% to 4.06 billion, and monthly active platform consumers grew 14% to 215 million, from 189 million a year earlier. Non-GAAP operating income rose 38% to $2.3 billion, or 3.9% of gross bookings, up from 3.4% in the third quarter of 2025. Adjusted EBITDA rose 31% to $3.0 billion, 5.0% of gross bookings versus 4.5% a year earlier. [1](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1543151/000154315126000039/uberq326earningspressrelea.htm)

## Results by segment

Mobility gross bookings rose 18% to $29.5 billion and Delivery rose 22% to $28.5 billion. Freight, the smallest segment, grew 35% to $1.8 billion. Segment operating income was $2.36 billion for Mobility (up 27%), $1.06 billion for Delivery (up 30%) and a loss of $33 million for Freight, per the release. Revenue growth lagged bookings. Mobility revenue fell 2% to $7.5 billion even as its bookings grew 18%, while Delivery revenue rose 23% to $5.5 billion. Uber said business model changes reduced total revenue growth by 8 percentage points; the release does not break that effect out by segment. ## Why net income fell 92%

GAAP net income attributable to Uber was $512 million, down from $6.63 billion a year earlier. The year-earlier figure included a $4.9 billion tax valuation release and a $1.5 billion pre-tax gain on equity investments. This quarter included a $476 million pre-tax net loss from revaluing Uber's equity investments, according to the release. GAAP diluted EPS was $0.25, against $3.11 in the third quarter of 2025. GAAP income from operations rose 30% to $1.45 billion. Free cash flow was $2.5 billion, up 14%, and Uber ended the quarter with $10.1 billion in unrestricted cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments. ## Fourth-quarter outlook

For the fourth quarter, Uber guided gross bookings to $63.25 billion to $65.25 billion, which is 18% to 22% growth in constant currency, and non-GAAP EPS to $0.95 to $0.99. It guided adjusted EBITDA to $3.13 billion to $3.23 billion and assumes a currency headwind of about 1 percentage point to reported growth. [1](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1543151/000154315126000039/uberq326earningspressrelea.htm)

Investing.com cited analyst estimates of $64.29 billion for bookings, about $1.00 for EPS and $3.15 billion for adjusted EBITDA. Calculated from Uber's ranges, the midpoints are $64.25 billion, $0.97 and $3.18 billion. Bookings and EPS midpoints are slightly below those estimates; the EBITDA midpoint is slightly above. The outlet did not name the source of the estimates. ## Autonomous vehicles and an executive departure

Chief Executive Officer Dara Khosrowshahi said in the release that Uber expects approximately 700 fully driverless vehicles on its platform by year-end and over 2,000 in 2027. He said the company's autonomous focus is now on commercial execution. [1](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1543151/000154315126000039/uberq326earningspressrelea.htm)

In a separate item in the same filing, Uber said Jill Hazelbaker, President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, will step down on Nov. 30, 2026 for an external opportunity. The filing does not name her next role or a successor. [2](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1543151/000154315126000039/uber-20261104.htm)
